Tragedy in Hevron. Five children aged 3 to 6 died Thursday after being left for a long time inside a closed car, according to Maj. Ibrahim Al-Abasi, spokesman for the Palestinian Authority’s Hevron police.

Al Abasi said that the children were from the Al-Fatafta family.

Relatives of the children had brought them with them to a location near Tarkumia, and left them in the car as the adults went off to harvest olives.

Two of the children were aged 5 and 6, said the spokesman, and the three others were aged 3 to 4. They were unable to open the car’s doors from the inside and according to police, died of asphyxiation.

Another report said that four girls died and one was in serious condition.

Oh my goodness, those poor kids 🙁 who leaves 5 children in a hot car like that? Every mother knows not to do that. This has been happening a lot lately all over parts of the world. That woman should be left in a car that she could not get out of with windows up, in the heat and feel exactly what her children felt as they were dying.
