A Code Red siren was recently heard in several Golan Heights communities, after an unidentified aircraft was spotted in the area.
IDF forces quickly responded with two Patriot missiles at a Syrian drone.
“Moments ago two Patriot air defense missiles were fired towards a drone which infiltrated Israeli airspace from Syria,” said an IDF spokesperson. However, the military was unable to confirm that the missiles struck the drone.
There are no reports of casualties or further damage at this time.
