Devora Pinto, the wife of Rabbi Yosef Yoshiyahu Pinto, has been located in Argentina, according to reports. She was reportedly found in a state of exhaustion and taken to a hospital to be examined.
Devora Pinto went missing in Argentina, officials from the movement said Friday. She disappeared without a trace from a Buenos Aires medical center, local police announced overnight Thursday/Friday – and fears had been raised that she has been kidnapped.
Members of the community said that they still suspect that the wife of Rabbi Pinto had been abducted, and then released for an unclear reason.
Rabbi Pinto, the head of ‘Shuva Yisrael’ community, is facing corruption charges in Israel.
