MK Ahmed Tibi (Ra’am-Ta’al) responded on Tuesday evening to MK Miri Regev’s (Likud) demand that he be dismissed from the Knesset for flying to London to convince parliamentarians to vote in favor of recognizing “Palestine”.

Tibi, in his response, sarcastically suggested that Regev forgot to take her medication when she made her demand.

“I’m surprised at Miri Regev, because I’ve always told her she has to take her pills three times a day without breaks,” Tibi wrote in response to Regev’s demand.

“To the crux of the matter, I do not demand that MK Regev be dismissed from the Knesset. She is a faithful expression of extreme right-wing politics,” Tibi added.

Earlier Tuesday, Regev told the Knesset Channel that Tibi’s visit to London was “chutzpah” and said she had written a letter to the Attorney General demanding that Tibi be dismissed.

Regev’s criticism came after MK Alex Miller (Yisrael Beytenu) on Monday accused Tibi of being a “puppet” for the PA, adding “it is clear that this foolish conduct will only prolong the possibility of a future agreement and will not achieve anything substantial.”

Tibi has on numerous occasions used his position as an Israeli parliamentarian to take anti-Israel actions.

In June, he said the Hamas terror group in Gaza is “not a terror organization,” just shortly before it launched a terror war on Israel causing Operation Protective Edge, and amid the abduction and murder of three Israeli teens Naftali Frenkel, Eyal Yifrah and Gilad Sha’ar hy”d by Hamas terrorists.

Regarding those terrorists who murdered the three Israeli teens, Tibi likewise refused to call them terrorists.
