A woman in her 20s was found dead Thursday in a grove near the industrial area at Migdal Haemek, in the Galilee. There were signs of violence on her upper body.
A police source told Arutz Sheva that investigators are looking into a possible terror motive for what appears to have been a murder. The young woman had been on her way to a job interview and she had no criminal record. The grove in which she was found is out of the way and rarely visited by people.
The Commander of the Israel Police’s Northern District, Major General Zohar Dvir, said: “We are at the start of an investigation, and when we complete the situation assessment, we will provide more information. We are looking into all of the aspects – both criminal and nationalistic.”
Most details of the investigation are under a gag order granted by a court.
Earlier Thursday a woman in her 30s was murdered in an apartment in Zevulun Street in Ashkelon. The police arrested her partner, a man aged 35, as a suspect in the murder. Two other men who were in the apartment were also arrested.
