Crash investigators say that EgyptAir flight MS804’s crew discussed a fire shortly before their plane crashed into the Mediterranean this past May.

The BBC reports that the Egyptian-headed committee is not ready to say where the fire occurred or what caused it, nor have they released precisely what the crew said

Previous findings suggested there was smoke in the cabin and located evidence of high temperatures in the front section of the plane.

Notably, though, the pilots never sent out a distress signal.

The flight was scheduled to bring 66 people from Paris to Cairo, none of whom survived. A research ship has finished its efforts to collect human remains from the crash site and brought them to Egypt for identification.

Authorities say they are still considering all possible causes for the crash, including terror.
