As part of his campaign against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for leadership of the Likud party, freshman MK Oren Hazan has circulated among members of the ruling party a list of his achievements since being elected to the Knesset.

But, according to Channel 10, the list is filled with initiatives stolen from other Knesset members or, worse still, accomplishments simply invented by Hazan.

Examples include:

  • The transfer of 680 million shekels to increase IDF soldiers’ salaries: This is an achievement shared between Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Education Minister Naftali Bennett as condition to joining Netanyahu’s government;
  • Revoking residency status for the families of terrorists: A step taken by Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan and former Interior Minister Silvan Shalom;
  • Tax benefits for residents of the periphery: These benefits were granted long before Hazan was elected;
  • The submission of 108 proposed bills: A large portion of the bills Hazan submitted, he copied from previous bills submitted to the Knesset.

According to Channel 10, the only truthful accomplishment on the list is Hazan’s proposal to officially call Israel the “State of Israel.”
